Three weeks into the Tang and the screen's already doing my head in. Heated seats? Behind the climate icon, then a sub-tab, then a slider. Want to swap drive mode? Tap the gearstick area, wait for the modal, then pick. Toggling lane assist is genuinely four taps from the home screen. Four. The hardware itself is fine. Touch is responsive, animations don't stutter. It's the information architecture that's the problem. Compared to the older Tesla layout, or even the Hyundai stuff I was cross-shopping, this feels like nobody actually owned the question of "what does the driver touch most often". The quick-access bar at the bottom is customisable, but only about four shortcuts. Helps a tiny bit. You can't put a profile preset there or a regen toggle, which are the two things I'd actually use. Is there a community thread somewhere with optimal shortcut setups? Or am I missing some hidden "driver mode" that surfaces the common stuff? feels like there must be.
